Finally the show started and too much expectations of mine (Personally) not even crossed near by. Shaan was good, introduction of the judges was good, the stage was excellent but among the 1st 12 contestants most of them disappointed me. If we see such contestants at tomorrows episode also then without a doubt this year SVOI 2 will be a boring musical show.

Arvind also participated at SVOI 1 last year. But he eliminated just before the final 12 were selected. He didn't impress me last year and even this year too. The performance was just good.

She just screwed the whole song. Even she totally missed or avoided (which ever) the Bengali portion with the harkats. At the end of the part it was seems to me that someone was screaming not singing.

Ryan also participated at SVOI 1 last year. But he eliminated at the beginning stage. He is as same as last year. No upgrades in his singing. The performance was just good. The funny thing is, last he was represented as contestant of Dubai and this year as of Andhra Pradesh.
Verdicts:
A complete disappointment beginning (According to me). Among the 1st 12 contestants 4 of them also participated last year and even could not make to the final 12. I can assure there are more contestants of last year's as I already saw Shaptapurna out there (Another contestant eliminated last year). I think last year SVOI introduced some great talents but this year I think they are not gonna make the same. yet to know what dirty plans are already in Gajj's mind.

Yesterday night was quite depressing for me.
First, I watched that depressing movie "Aamir" with an extremely stupid story line. I wonder how the movie managed to get such great reviews.
Then after that ordeal, I was forced to watch Gajji's republic day parade. It was looking more like a republic day parade with tableaus of various states rarther than a music reality show.
And each singer was pathetic, just pathetic. Not even a single person impressed me.
Only saving grace was Ismail darbar, who tried some humour in the otherwise dull show.
It seems Gaj has decided that no person from Ishmeet's community will ever be allowed to become Voice of India again.
Gaj has bowed down to the communal lobby and not even a single person from Ishmeet's community has been allowed to participate this time.
In fact the contestant from Punjab Vipul Mehta is the most pathetic of all the lot.
